Camping and Caravanning

The small campsite which is registered and inspected by the Camping and Caravan Club provides space, peace and the delights of a rural location. There is one hot shower which is fed by the house oil fired rayburn, washbasin with cold water and a toilet.

By the campsite is a compost toilet which is nearing completion and there are several drinking water taps located around the site. A separate area is provided for guests to have a small campfire and wood is available to purchase.

Adjacent to the camping field is a smaller area for campervans and/or caravans. Please note there is NO electric hook up.

Prices are from£10 a pitch for a 2 person tent plus £1 per adult per night = £12. A 4 person tent is £12 plus £1 per adult = £16 per night.

It is possible to store freezer blocks in the house freezer and to re-charge a mobile phone at the house.

Booking is essential from April through to September and desirable at other times.
