The ground floor is accessible to wheelchair users and has a large cloakroom with a toilet and washbasin. The kitchen is very well equipped and includes a dishwasher.The spacious sitting room provides a sleeping facility with a sprung sofa bed, for those guests who cannot manage the stairs. There is a log burner in the sitting room.

Outside the cottage are extensive gardens with garden furniture.
